she blinded me with science (& dragons) → 03.28.19/03.29.19 (@evielutionary)
amazingly enough, reggie did not have a panic attack when a song was dedicated to her from evie. it was easy enough to tell it was done as a silly joke for the Very Important Research (ie hooking up) the pair had started doing and their shared enjoyment of science. considering reggie had been hanging alone by the bar most of the night, the moment was easily a highlight
later during the battle reggie came over with as much of her charm and self as she could offer (which wasn’t much, her introvert levels were high going into the night). evie kindly accepted the company, though if only because reggie seemed to need a friend. how she didn’t regret this choice after reggie said “do you wanna get out of here and help me prove the big bang isn’t just a theory?” we will never know
the pair went back to evie’s, however, mid-make out evie’s desire to be a real friend to someone rather than a distraction popped out. checking in with reggie, evie’s “are you okay” got answers of “yeah i’m fine” to “i don’t know” to “no i feel like shit ” which evie seemed to understand and didn’t even kick reggie once she admitted her head was a little off (we stan)
they ended up just talking in evie’s bed until reggie admitted to never having played dungeons & dragons. from then on that night was filled with reggie learning the rules, lore, and hearing all about Gilia the Cleric Wood Elf. reggie even was inspired enough to make her own character– who’s to say if Puff the High Elf will ever see the light of day or not (evie would recommend the latter, though she didn’t tell reggie that)
without meaning to reggie drifted off to sleep at some point. again, like a champ, evie didn’t mind it (we stan x2). when reggie was up in the morning, however, she provided evie both a morning coffee and a morning orgasm before leaving as friendly thanks for everything evie did (and taught)
