danae was having a good day for once. she looked over and saw a familiar face. “river wolf, isn’t it? from uma’s crew?” she held out a hand, “danae smee from harriet’s gang.”
danae is a secret late night lights fan. it’s a form of escapism for her. the music tells a story and brings her away from the shit hand she’s been dealt. her favorite song is “jet black heart” since it resonates so hard with her. she can continue her escape while crying over the similarities to her own heart.
their concerts are one of the few places she won’t be her regular self. she will not pick-pocket fellow concert-goers. she won’t graffiti the venue. she gets to be away from her family and crew for a few hours. those few hours are where danae gets to be a regular woman for once—no pirate stuff necessary.
