Gal Gadot in Date Night (2010)
date night
Albus stood in front of the Greengrass front door for perhaps a moment too long as he fidgeted with what he was sure was a too-tightly-tied tie although it was insisted otherwise that it was not. Finally satisfied with its slightly less than deathly grasp around his neck, he ran a hand over his hair in hopes of taming it somewhat although he knew it was a losing battle. Only after he was presentable did Albus raise his hand to knock on the door; the moment his knuckles would have made contact with the wood it was suddenly swinging wide open and he was instead faced with Astoria, who had apparently been standing on the other side of the door watching him. He could tell by the amused smirk on her lips and the way she immediately invited him in and assured him that Cassie would be right down. It wasn’t often that Albus Severus Potter got embarrassed, but in this moment he was and he could feel his cheeks reddening as he took a seat on the sofa.
Just as he was told, his wait wasn’t long and he soon heard the familiar clicking of heels against the floor. Albus rose from his seat, turning to the staircase and immediately his breath caught in his throat. Carefully he stepped around the sofa, meeting Cassie at the bottom stair and kissing her cheek. “You look beautiful,” he commented, taking her hand in his own as he swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat. It made no sense for him to be nervous, they’d been together for so long that there was no reason for it. He chalked it up to the fact that in that time, they’d never gone on a proper date. It was merely circumstantial, this being their technical first date, that had tricked his nerves. “You, uh, ready to go?”
