I think she:

Came from a family of musicians

Cut her teeth around the farms with field hollers for school

Which led to her first assignment aboard a whale boat to record/catalog the working songs

It was awful and thrilling at the same time

She joined the Order soon after, maybe she was recruited after a lecture or something

Maybe started or revitalized a musicology department while within the order?

Maybe she works on the Overseers’ music boxes and her research around the Isles is a part of that?
