I'd love to know about Dorice, anything really. For a more specific question, does she have some particularly dear memories of her son, what was their relationship like? Does she have any other family?
thank you so much!! i wrote about dorice a bit in the last answer, but i'll share some more! she absolutely adored her son…he was everything to her. her husband died to a fatal illness when their son was a baby and she was estranged from her own parents (gonna be honest. i forgot why.) so she raised her son on her own. the two were extremely close. they loved to go swimming together, that's one dear memory of hers. she used to swim a lot before his death, but after he drowned during one of their trips, she fell into a deep depression and to this day doesn't feel comfortable being near large bodies of water anymore. isild is somewhat of a family figure for dorice...she doesn't exactly see her like a daughter, but she cares deeply for her and wants her to be safe.
