theyre very much the inverse of one another and it extends past their names/personalities and into their designs. the colors of their clothes, and both having part of their face "covered" in some way but one having his mouth covered, the other having glasses over his eyes. even the way they stand - joker having his hands out and rekoj's behind his back.

If you ever needed more Good Guy Doc headcanons, here you go. When it was time to update his cyborg arm, Doc went out of his way to only use iron that won't hurt Cub and Scar. I mean, not that hard to do when he could just go to Tango after the iron farm's had the charm, but damn if he doesn't make sure he's 110% sure every bit of iron he's putting on his arm won't burn Cub and Scar.

(I'm assuming this is going off the Cub and Scar fae headcanons, also: I always need more Good Guy Doc headcanons)

The thing is, it would be so, so easy for him to use their weakness against them, especially since it's looking like he'll be up against them in the latest server conflict. He could never live with himself if he turned himself into a weapon against their very nature, though. Just the thought of them backing away from him, looking at him with fear even in peacetime...it burns him even more than the iron would burn them. So, he checks the charm twice. Asks Tango relentless questions about the farm, checks over the diagrams to see if there's any possible way the magic could wear thin. He keeps Cub busy for a good couple days checking that every ingot used in the project is safe (probably best to have him around, so there's at least one person there to tell Doc to sleep once in a while).

The Goatfather may be resourceful, but none could ever call him cruel.
