I was explaining Tron: Uprising to my friend and got to the part about Paige starting to like Beck when one hilarious slip-up happened. I wanted to say "...and that's why Paige wants to shag the mechanic" but I was sleep-deprived so I said "...and that's why Pidge wants to shag the mechanic" .
Then my friend said "Wait, Pidge? Like, Pidge from you-know-what?" and I realised my mistake and burst into laughter.
Now I've got this stupid idea.

Imagine her being a medical program who also enjoys making music (or engineering, since it suits her) with her pre-cut hair.
That's cute, isn't it? But:

Don't think about her joining the Occupation thinking that they saved her.
Don't imagine her changing her hair as an attempt to move on.
Don't think about her caring for the citizens despite being an officer.
Don't think about her meeting the Renegade and engaging in a mutual foe yay flirting with him. Trying to stop him all the time. Gaining his respect.
Don't imagine her meeting the mechanic and starting to fall in love with him after he saves people (almost getting himself killed in the process). The feeling is mutual.
Think about her not knowing that the Renegade and the mechanic are the same person.
