more art from circa 2015 in high school. this features drawings when i went through a heavy greek mythology phase and obssessed over the myth orpheus and eurydice. the idea was orpheus and eurydice would constantly reincarnate and fall in love and end in tragedy (again and again and again), but they wouldn't remember their past lives. and this incarnation was set in the american southwest in the 19th century. same old story, but orpheus played western cowboy music and hell was located underneath the grand canyon (think that horror movie "the descent"). this was a good 2 to 3 years before i ever learned about hadestown
