Terme del Foro
Quintus had been in the baths for hours. It did not particularly matter, as they owned the baths, but - still, it was something out of the ordinary. He had a meeting late in the night, which surely brought to question its legitimacy, but it was legitimate. Mostly. He shut his eyes and sunk into the water one last time, and resisted the urge to stay there forever. He wanted to be out before people started coming in, anyway. And before the sun rose and his family woke. So he lifted himself up and made his way to the common bath for the final step. Once he stepped into the room, he realised that he was too late and there was already someone there. Quintus supposed there was nothing he could do now, and so slipped into the bath anyway. “Ah, the grain-seller-supervisor.”
