Aloe - What is something that would instantly make you cry at the sight/mention of it?

Whenever my husband returns from battle. The moment I see him walk through the door, I cannot help but weep with relief that he's home and safe.

Currant - Describe the person you don't ever want to see sad.

There are two: my husband Georges and my son Marius.

Hollyhock - What is your dream?

My dream is that my father will someday learn to accept Georges as his son-in-law, and begin to love him as such, despite their differences. I want him to embrace Marius, so that my son can grow up to have a good relationship with his grandfather. I want my family, all of it, to be happy.

headcanon: dresses

Lisette loves dresses and always has, ever since she was a little girl. In her childhood, her father would buy her at least three new dresses a year: one for Christmas, one for Easter, and one for her birthday. As she grew older, the tradition continued -- until she decided to marry Georges. It was one of Gillenormand's very first expressions of disapproval.

Waterloo, Gillenormand, wedding

Waterloo:

When Georges returned from the Battle of Waterloo, Lisette cried with relief. Even though it was a defeat, and Georges was a broken man, she was relieved that he had survived.

Gillenormand:

Lisette loves her father even though they're at odds over her choice of husband. She wishes more than anything that he would see how happy she was with Georges, but in the back of her mind she knows it will never happen.

Wedding:

The Pontmercy wedding was a simple affair, with only a few close friends. Gillenormand refused to help pay for it, so it was nothing like the grand ceremony Lisette had dreamed. Even so, it was one of the happiest days of her life.
