clinique’s id tone up gel is my new bff i love it so much
I love Lauren Lopez and I think I'm going to start doing this hahaha
I love Lauren's latest *glow post.
I love how it goes into the doubts of doing something that you love. That when you go into performing arts, people laugh and ask what are you really doing with your life. I'm not going into the performing arts, before I was, but it just gets to me that this happens. Especially since I don't know what I want to do with my life, major/career wise, I get questioned what I would do if I suggest options. I also feel, like Lauren said, guilty. Guilty and low because of my options and how they don't fit the standards of my family or relatives.
The quote she posted, "Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes YOU come alive and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." by Howard Thurman is going to be one of my inspiration quotes. I do want to have a stable career that can bring income, food to the table and a roof over my head, but I want to do something that makes me feel alive. I know people are concerned about me, but it's not their life that they will be living, not there career that they will do. Now, as I try to figure out a major that will lead to a career, I need to find my glow. My specialty that will help me live in life. Today I went to the career counselor to try to figure out a major. She gave me so many options to look for one and different categories that I am best it. It's going to be a long process, I admit I got bored when she read suggestions that didn't seem exciting and scared how they sounded so boring that a portion of my life will be dull because of that. I just have to take it one step at a time, and first, find my glow.
