I was fine through most of the reminders of it being Donna Brothers final broadcast until she called riders up and then I turned into a balling mess.

Melinoё the Post (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
Five year old game I just started playing...lol
Less cool facts but Goldem Tempo is now just the second horse to win from the 19 hole (I don’t think he moved in since Great White was to his outside but could be wrong. At the very least he’s the second to have the saddlecloth.) The first being I’ll Have Another in 2012
when ao3 is down with no warning and no estimated return time so we all flock to the motherland to complain... a tale as old as time
Y E S YEEEES THANK YOU YE E E E ES
Poseidon: i love you, son, you're the best, you're such a good kid, i'll do everything i can to help you, i don't want you to be a weapon, you were made from love, give me a hug! also brace yourself
Zeus: do as i say or be tree
"Blackjack! Where the hell have you been loca?"
Also it wasn’t Katie Gardener in the episode
^from the episode end end credits
And before someone brings up the updates Percy account. Yeah they obviously made a mistake. They’re a fan run account. This is what happens when you don’t check things like the credits
Also with them viewing Thalia at this point as Kronos' champion for reasons that are somewhat understandable considering how that last conversation went. I am now wondering if she will get taught mist control at all in the show like she is in the books or really anything related to her powers.
Guessing no. Which will put a different spin on certain scenes in S3. Like the CTF game.
Also I don’t know who needs to hear this. But DO NOT EXIT OUT UNTIL THE CREDITS ARE DONE. There are two post credits. One is our first official Season 3 scene and the other is more fun but has some interesting implications if they go all the way to HOO.
The way I lost my mind at this because I’m sorry what do you mean she’s 15 going on 16 in this???? Oh this is going to change dynamics alone because in the books she thinks of herself as a 12 year old because that’s how old she was when everything happened.
(Not a complaint. Like her getting aged up makes sense but I lost my fucking mind at this line.)
Also the siren scene really didn’t change that much. Some of yall just forgot how actually traumatizing it is in the book.
All the cute hugging, kissing stuff? Did not happen in the book. Never happened. Percy’s too distracted with trying to save their lives. And Annabeth is too upset crying over what she saw.
Hell you want a controversial take?
The show improves it by not making it all about her fatal flaw like it is in the books after they get back on the boat
Because that is pretty much all they talked about.
Here's your reminder that the 'no contact' thing was only made up for the movies and was never really canon anywhere else. So the Gods lack of contact in the show? And Annabeth's feelings around it?
Completely justified.
Considering there is no real reason for the lack of it.
Percy Jackson Season 2 Episode 4, Thoughts
-Interesting flashbacks.
-Not really a fan of having Annabeth "kill" the three members of Clarisse's crew. I know they're already dead, but it still feels heartless.
-It is nice to see Clarisse struggling with the hard choices. Makes her feel more human than in the books.
-And yes! Percy acknowledging Poseidon's help in this quest. So here for it. Also that small "Thanks." Love it!
-And we got our first glimpse of Rainbow! Yay!
-Still a little annoyed that the keep having Percy get wet when in the books he doesn't get wet unless he wants to, but the visual of him standing on the deck was rather cool.
-That one guy (whose name I don't know) realize why Clarisse needed six men and then turning to look at him...goosebumps. I couldn't tell if he was angry and judging her or acknowledging that she had had to make a hard choice to get them through.
He is dry in other scenes (see Andromeda and Tysons comment) starting this season so I think it was just a matter of too much water plus Percy was probably more concerned with trying to control the current of Charybdis. Cause that was a lot
The way this episode has made me bawl 😭
Anyone else realize that since Chris is still at camp. And can't really run away to the Andromeda without drawing attention. That means when we actually talk about spies and the eventual run off with him will actually have a character tied to it way earlier than we did before?
This also does a major expansion on Chris' arc which I am very much here for.
