today one of the kids was like "well i CAN do that" in reference to bizarre "tribal calls" during some skit theyre doing for a project, "because that's what Indians do! they dance around all weird like this and they're all like [insert weird cliché 'war call'/'war chant'/'native song' noises]"

like i was so uncomfortable because i wasnt sure if i had the authority to call out an eight year old on racism w/out getting in trouble for being aggressive or anything
