           ❛  hi.  ❜   annie  offers  a  bright  smile  from  her  seat,  flashing  her  white  teeth  at  the  other  woman.   ❛  nice  hair.  ❜   it’s  a  genuine  compliment;  annie  wishes  her  mother  would  have  had  let  her  have  hair  like  that.  at  least  ONCE.  maybe  in  her  teen  years,  at  least.  it  would’ve  looked  pretty  cool.

“You need to rest.” (Nine)

   “Rest is for the weak.” Jack says as he reluctantly lays down on the small couch in his bedroom. He was too tired to even bother arguing much. The fever set in so he was shivery and sweaty ( not the most attractive but he can’t bring himself to care ) which he could have kept a secret if the Doctor wasn’t so overly observant when he wanted to be. His dress shirt started to cling to him as his body betrayed him from his temperature that kept climbing. “We need to take care of the TARDIS. She still needs the console fixed, those knobs and buttons won’t fix themselves.”

Gin looks down at the large blue hands encircling her thin, pale wrists with a raised eyebrow before tilting her head up to meet the Draenei’s face.  She makes a few feeble attempts at pulling herself free, but without injuring herself, the larger Draenei effectively had her trapped.

Gin grinned slowly, still trying to slip her wrists from his grasp, right hand clenched in a fist.  “Well…y’caught me…wot now, gonna call tha guard?”  She winks up at him.

✂ — a vivid memory

Gin pauses for a moment, silver flask raised halfway to her lips as she thinks, a sad smile creeping over her lips.

“ ‘S’not a long memory, but…tha las’ memory of my whole family.  Before my dad passed an’ my mum decided booze wus more important than ‘er daughters.  Ah wus onl’y four when ‘e passed, bu’ fer some reason…ah strongly remember jus’…wot mos’ would call a normal family evenin’.  I wus on tha floor playin’ with one of our mastiffs…Abi wus studyin’ somethin’ with our mum ‘elpin’ ‘er…when dad walked in an’ started singing to mum.  Grabbin’ ‘er ‘ands an’ jus’…dancin’ ‘round tha room.”

Her voice cracks near the end of her story before she coughs, clearing her throat and taking a swig of her whiskey.

“ ‘S my oldest memory…an’ tha only one ah’ve got of my dad…or of my mum bein’ ‘appy…”

19. Something that makes your OC cry without fail?

The anniversaries of her sister’s death (or when she found out she had passed) and of her wife’s death.  Gin doesn’t typically cry in public unless very, VERY plastered, but if she’s in the company of close friends or by herself, she has been known to cry herself to sleep over both of these deaths.  Other than that, she tends to be very sarcastic and light-hearted most of the time, in an attempt to cover up her depression.
