'Note'
A letter was placed on Anduin’s bed, next to a small package. The prince would be able to recognize Luna’s handwriting, in fluently scribed Common:
Dearest Anduin,
I know you are going to be angry with me. It is alright, you are allowed to be angry. I would be angry too.
...I do not know how to put this...but...by the time you read this, I will most likely be dead. I have gone to fight the Legion and I do not think I will be coming back. I am so sorry. I know that I was never able to replace your real mother, but I do know that I love you as though you are one of my own.
I want you to always remember this: you have the power to change the world for the good. You can do it. You have a great head on your shoulders and a purity that is so rare to find this day in age. Anduin, you can do whatever you set your mind to. I know you can. Your talent is endless and so is your kindness and gentle heart. I just know you will be a great king.
Take care of Calli for me. Please...she will need you more than ever now. Know that I am so proud of you, and I will always be watching over you with your father.
I know you’re going to do great things, kiddo.
All my love,
Luna
PS: Take what is in the package. Use them well!
Within the package was Luna’s prized silver daggers, with the white leather grips and the ivory strips along the blunt edges. They glinted and shone with a light of their own. Luna knew Anduin would take good care of them.
