Idk ig they’re on vacation disguised as humans.
#I think I kinda understand the symbolism here#the horizon splits them off#Hera with the water and Zeus with the sky#the tree branch further emphasizes the divide between them#but they’re on the same boat#so in spite of their differences they’re still together#Hera is dressed in white and gold a white flower#*holds#both are associated with marriage#Zeus’s attire is more casual#and he’s the one rowing the boat#ig to to symbolize that he is the king/patriarch#also they’re not looking at each other#even tho one would assume that this is supposed to be a romantic boat ride#the more I analyze it the less I’m perplexed#greek mythology#ancient greek mythology#greek pantheon#greek goddess#hera#zeus#Zeus x Hera
