I love that people recognize Green’s caring and soft side as one of the traits that makes him a good leader, but I also want to bring attention to his badass side because it is honestly The Best.

Like hey, remember that time he pulled out the Moon Pearl at the very last second and saved himself from certain death at the hands of a giant shadowy knight? Or the time he traversed an entire desert and climbed most of a volcanic mountain all by himself? Or the time he literally just drew a sword on Vio and said he was going to straight-up kill him if it meant the Four Sword wouldn’t be used for evil OR the time shortly after that where he sasses Vio for losing his morals and integrity WHILE LITERALLY FIGHTING WITH HIM TO THE DEATH?

Yeah, me too.

In the official French version of the Four Swords manga, Vio has a habit of putting little interjections in his speech (such as “bah” and “ouf!” shown in the mangacaps above). I think that kind of speech pattern fits his character a lot. (Note that he does say “yokatta”, which basically means “thank goodness” here, in the second mangacap in the Japanese version, so “ouf!” is the French approximation of that phrase.)
