Green, hurt from his fight with Shadow, is rushed back to the Great Fairy fountain to be completely healed. The heroes spend the rest of their evening unwinding after a long day with food and games, but Vio and Green are haunted by the aftermath of the fight.

The princess searches the palace for Vaati after completing her latest assignment. She stumbles upon him and the dark hero, learning the truth about Shadow's origin.

Summary: Link becomes the hero of Hyrule again when Shadow kidnaps the princess and the six maidens as they attempt to check on the four sword. Green (Link's nickname), Red, Blue, and Vio adventure across Hyrule in search of the maidens. They learn to work together and uncover the origin of their personalities throughout their journey.

Zelda is held prisoner in the Palace of Clouds with her past assailant, Vaati, the evil wind mage. She struggles to call her magic abilities to escape, but she finds an unexpected tutor in her captor. The princess doesn't understand why he's helping her, but she intends to use him just as much as he plans to use her.

The heroes rescue the maidens through rigorous battles against deadly huge monsters across the land. They finally find their way to the Palace of Clouds, but discover an improbable ally to aid in their final battle against Shadow and Ganon.

I've slowly been working on a monster hunter stories au Shadow and Green are rangers/team leaders for a branch of a guild that acts like the scriveners

Vio is an attendant to an elder dragon, he's also a mountain hermit until shadow (with help from green) mange to convince them to come help with their investigations
