such a weird power dynamic... it's like? it has a note of mentor/student but thats not quite it. someone fully-fledged and has things figured out and someone who is clawing as desperate and doesn't know whats going on

[pleasured exhalation] is of course the classic jonelias scene but i think "Elias, am I still human?" is also an underrated thing... jon trying to get to the part of elias that's still human, that still cares, despite the fact that that part doesn't really exist anymore, and elias just completely dismissing him. idk i feel like its just a really good microcosm of that weird power imbalance

its not even the boss/employee thing its specifically the power imbalance they have in knowledge and avatarhood that makes them interesting to me

im not usually a shipper and im not usually one for weird power dynamics but theres something about jonelias and tma as a whole thats so compelling from a ship standpoint. deeply dysfunctional. deeply fucked up. but so interesting
