well now you have to share the corbin bleu lore

back in 2013 corbin bleu had one of the most widely translated wikipedia articles of any person, alive or dead. he was in the top 3 just behind jesus and obama. we don't know why. it’s been speculated that most of his articles have been created by the same person who uses like seven different wikipedia accounts. but no one really knows. i think he’s dropped a few places since then but it’s still it’s one of my favourite pop culture anecdotes.

hey arwen!! what are some tv shows you love recommending to people, and what is one you NEVER recommend (either for your sake or theirs agshdls)?

recommendations:

leverage (2008-2012). it's got found family. it's got fuck the government and the rich. it's got heist plots so tight that the fbi had to send the showrunners a cease and desist. what's not to love?

the good place (2016-2020). i have nothing more to say except THE show of all time

the haunting of hill house (2018). who wants to be really sad and think about family and grief and mortality???

derry girls (2018-2022). was talking w some friends about this show a few days ago and one of them said "everyone in their right mind would love this show." and she was correct

bbc ghosts (2019-2023). SO fucking underrated. everyone should be watching this show

something i NEVER recommend:

doctor who (2005-). it's the dumbest show ever made and should actually probably be required viewing for everyone alive. the thing with who (and txf!) is that it requires a very specific sort of freak to be into it, so i don't recommend it to absolutely everyone i know the way i do with the others

I have been so deeply unexcited about That Show that even seeing my faves - cos who the fuck thought putting my best girl in the drabbest colours and calling it the "Colour of Spices" was a good idea??? - didn't do shit for me

But now hearing from @jeanvanjer that Hannah is pretty good as Frannie and now Victor Alli is cute AF as John,,, I fear I badly need the Kathony and Johncesca cut now
