AKIO] Hey man, do you have a moment? I need to ask you something, privately.
[KIYOSHI] Yeah for sure, what's going on man? Is everything okay with your family?
[AKIO] Oh, my family is an absolute clusterfuck. But my question is actually about the girl sitting with Taku - who is she?
[KIYOSHI] That's Liz.! She's Lily's childhood best friend from Brindleton Bay. She's getting her Master's degree and teaching ballet. I wouldn't be surprised if she's Juri's ballet teacher. Liz is a real sweetheart though and super smart.
[AKIO] She is Juri's ballet teacher, 100%. Juri is living with me now and no one told me her ballet lessons were starting earlier and l know she's is struggling with family drama so she's been late to class a few times. So she asked me to come with her to talk with her teacher and I may have been a dick towards her teacher... She was super professional, but I know she was pissed at how hot I came in, or I think I could tell she was.
[AKIO] So of course she's friends with Lily and you think highly of her because I can be too good at fucking things up.
[KIYOSHI] *raises eyebrow* Oh, Akio.
[KIYOSHI] I'm sure if you were to talk to her tonight and apologized, she would understand. She has an older brother, so she really understands how we all get sometimes. You don't have to tell her everything, but be real with her.
[AKIO] Are you sure?
[KIYOSHI] Absolutely, She may not be super warm because you were a dick to her, but it will at least be a clean slate, so to speak.
[KIYOSHI] Why do you care so much? I mean, she is really pretty-
[AKIO] Dude, don't even! I just can't have another interaction with someone go sour. I've had enough of that lately.
[AKIO] And I guess I'd be open to a new connection...*clears throat* of any kind.
[KIYOSHI] *chuckles* I see. She's not going anywhere for a couple years and the rest of our friend group love her.
You owe it to yourself to allow her to get to know you for real, Akio. You're an amazing guy.
