Tbh I love how Lay is promoting Mpop and making his own brand while being attached to EXO. Kris Wu really downgraded with his new look and desperate plea for attention in the US. It’s sad to watch.

After Kris Han Tao's derpature from EXO I still keep up with all of them, and as much as I like Kris I am very disappointed in what he recently stated in an interview. This whole 'freedom to do his own music' is such a lie. It was a really bad move he made there. First of all when he decided to become an idol, he should've EXACTLY known what he signed up for, and actually I think he DID know. Choosing SM means, following quite a strict idol life. If he really wanted 'freedom' in doing his own thing, shouldn't he have chosen a company like e.g. YG? Did he really think he was going to have the "freedom" a hot minute after he debuted in an IDOL GROUP? He wasn't even long enough there to get his "freedom". As you can see by now the EXO members are writing their own lyrics, Lay actually writes and produces his own songs, etc. To me, what he said was really ignorant and was probably just a way for him to brush off his idol past and try to appear more cool and legitimate as an artis now but in the end it was just really selfish, because afterall he wasn't the only one in the group who wanted to have more "freedom" muscially. What about the members he trained with? Or those who were trainees for a longer time than him? If that's all true what he said, then he pretty much didn't care about anything, or anyone and especially not what would happen to the group. This is selfishness for real.
