i think you've mentioned that 10 is kind of a lot — do you have a preferred number of cats? or does it just kind of depend on the specific constellation of personalities/needs?

I don’t have any magic number but it will probably be a long time before I get anymore. 10 is definitely too many, the cost of feeding them all is nuts.

I have a number of young guys that should be around for awhile. Bianca, Bug, Gracie, Arthur, Bessie, and Marty are all relatively young with minimal health issues. So I plan to wait until they’re the only ones left to even consider getting anyone else. And at that point it would just be to get another hospice cat so I can have one old, decrepit beast at all times.
