ok but what if when they rehearsed finally free luke was a lot more involved in the singing parts
like he had more lines he was supposed to sing and/or duet with julie
but then they’re onstage, and he sees how she’s literally glowing and belting out notes he never could have dreamed could come out of a person, let alone a person of her size and he just. either a. completely forgets. mesmerised because julie and what’s happening again? or b. she’s a powerhouse and no one should Stand in the way of that- not even him, the guy who died for music and came back to life for music c. he literally wants her to shine and he’s more than happy to watch in that sweet sweet spot right there to her left d. he just wants to keep listening to her sing forever e. he loves her so much and he’s stunned by the force of it
