the joker deleted scene of The Batman (2022) is a much more interesting introduction to the character than the one they actually kept in the film imo. the general creepiness of it, his weird obsession with batman, his strange body injuries, the fact that these two do seem to have a history already... it's all there and it's so much better than just having the joker be cryptic and laugh a lot in a cell next to the riddler ! it feels less like a "There will be a sequel" announcement and more like a world building moment, they should have kept it in the film and then turned the riddler and joker conversation into a post credit scene smh
