Wren stared at Olive for a moment. Not saying a word. Olive looked back at her sister. At her deep brown eyes. At the way her tan skin looked smooth in the early morning light. She felt safe. Like she always did with Wren. "And he asked me, what's more important? Family? Or your career." This part of the story always clenched Olive's heart. It was the thesis to her relationship with her sister. "And you told him, without my family, I have no career." Olive said breathlessly. Her eyes pricked up with tears. Wren smiled at her, leaning forward and kissing Olive on the forehead. "Because it's true." Wren said, and Olive smiled, a tear rolling down her cheek. Wren wiped it away.
