hello there! this might be a mildly stupid question, but i never got around to posting three of my prompt fills for subcody week because (with the worst possible timing) i got sick and just didn't have the capacity for it anymore. would it still be okay if i posted them to the collection now?

Hello! I was wondering what the solo nominations (Solo: Luke Skywalker) mean. Are they like character nominations (Character: Luke Skywalker) in other exchanges, as in they can be paired with anyone, or are they exclusively requesting offering masturbation focused fic? Would Luke masturbating about a particular person be disallowed?

Solo nominations are gifts focusing on masturbation or other forms of solo play. It should be assumed to have no heavy ship focus as the default. Sticking with your example, if you requested Solo: Luke Skywalker, you can use your DNWs to specify that:
You don’t want Luke to be thinking about anyone while masturbating;
Luke can think about a vague, non-specific person;
You don’t mind who he’s thinking about, but DNW a couple of specific characters. Keep in mind: per the rule about not using DNWs to force your gifter into creating something specific, you cannot request Solo: Luke Skywalker and then have a DNW for him thinking about anyone but Mara Jade. If you want Luke/Mara Jade, you should request this!
If the pairing you’d like is Luke Skywalker/[Any, Creator’s Choice] and not a solo play scenario, then nominate Luke Skywalker/Other(s).
Hi there, just wanted to mention I think it’s a little weird that Only Trans!Cody is a prompt for subcodyweek and not trans!Obi as well in some way. Because isn’t that kind of implying being trans is inherently sub? Which is kind of a bizarre stereotype. And one that fandoms perpetuate a lot but is obviously not realistic at all. So yeah. 😅

I think this is very much the kind of thing where everyone’s mileage is going to vary; there’s a reason why every day has multiple prompts!
This is an event focusing both on Cody and on him subbing. It follows that fans of trans Cody in this specific event would be writing him as a sub. I don’t think the lack of a prompt for a trans dom in any way implies that that isn’t a thing that happens, just that this event is at a particular crossroads of interests.
Also, not all trans people are facing the same sort of stereotypes, the way media portrays trans women is very different from how it portrays trans men, and how it portrays non-binary people. While you may not enjoy seeing trans people subbing, many trans people do and feel like they don’t see enough of this in fandom spaces. This is why we require fics be appropriately tagged, so everyone is able to see the things they enjoy and ignore the things they don’t.
Ultimately, this is an event focusing on Cody. It wouldn’t be appropriate to have trans!Obi Wan as a prompt as this isn’t a codywan event. However, you can of course absolutely write dom trans characters for this event. The fic I’m finishing up today features a trans dom :D
