a character I didn’t used to like but now do: ok don’t leave me for this but…… i really didn’t get the audrey hype

a character I used to like but now don’t: josie? but that’s only really because of her aggravating, confusing, overly melodramatic storyline, not her. and honestly, they just treated her terribly (that maid storyline was bs)… idk, i DO like josie, it’s just. agh.

a character I’m indifferent about: annie. they brought her on specifically to be a love interest/plot device, which i haaaaaaate, and there wasn’t anything about her for me to connect with personally (except liking coop, but lol). i wish they had given her more development instead of just molding her into the Perfect Love Interest in the span of a few episodes. and james bores me to the throes of death, but that might go without saying

a character who deserved better: laura, josie, annie, shelly, norma, coop… A LOT OF PEOPLE OKAY

a ship I’ve never been able to get into: coop/audrey, coop/annie, harry/josie (but i tried! i did!), donna/james

my favourite storyline/moment: harry waiting in the woods for coop for ten hours(!); harry and coop figuring out how to adjust those chairs oh my god; everything about coop & laura’s dream/soul/etc. connection even when it makes me so damn sad; “catherine… forgive my saying so… but aren’t you dead?”; deputy tommy “hawk” hill’s entire existence; gordon and shelly’s first meeting; literally every andy moment (“where have you been???” “there was a cat in a tree”); “SHUT YOUR EYES AND YOU’LL BURST INTO FLAMES.” “thanks margaret”; denise tricking the renault bros and sneaking coop that gun under her dress :))))); ………coop cocking his gun and shooting at windom earle’s crate of horrors; “i’d rather be his whore than your wife” (❤️️ norma ❤️️)

a storyline that never should have been written: the whole james/evelyn thing was so tedious; WHO’S DONNA’S REAL FATHER???, that whole mr. tojamura subplot?? who allowed that???

my favourite storyline/moment: assistant coach scott!!!; allison & kira fighting side by side using each other’s weapons; any time melissa mccall is a goddamn superhero; this sweetness; allison & lydia’s unconditional love for, and support of, one another; any time vet!scott is a concept, but i often think about this moment especially; kira & malia dancing together because it’s adorable; this entire exchange; “there’s no such thing as fate.” “there’s no such thing as werewolves.”; the moment isaac fell hard and fast for scott; scott being snarky/making jokes; ❤️️❤️️❤️️; “WE JUST MET AND YOU BIT ME!”; scott being safe, happy, and healthy!!!; literally anything that filled my heart with love and light

a storyline that never should have been written: ha! haha! so many things. every time a white male villain was allowed to live AND REMAIN PLOT RELEVANT while the women were killed; malia and stiles hooking up in eichen house (and anything relating to eichen house tbh); the nazi werewolf???; any attempts to curry favor/sympathy for theo post him literally murdering scott; lydia’s complete 180 re: stiles in s6 and her characterization being destroyed to facilitate stydia happening (also, earlier, the panic attack kiss); ……..i could go on but i’m tired

my first thoughts on the show: i can’t remember specifics, but i do remember it made me happy

my thoughts now: i could never comprehensively list all the ways in which jeff davis has disappointed me and tested my patience over the last six years, but thank god scott made it out alive and i’m finally free

a character I didn’t used to like but now do: hannibal lmao. he’s the devil, i hate the shit he does, i often want to punch him in the face. but i’ve gone a bit soft regardless. it’s 100% mads’ fault (my second full watch was with my mom and she, like me, had never before given hannibal as a character any real consideration but also unexpectedly found herself charmed)

a character I used to like but now don’t: i’m………not sure i have one

a character I’m indifferent about: matthew brown, abel gideon? miriam and franklyn, though i feel bad to admit it. molly to a degree, but through no fault of hers—she was put into an unfair situation/position from the start, narratively speaking. i respect her but i just never developed much of an attachment beyond that

a character who deserved better: uhhhhhhhhhh all of them. literally everyone except mason and the serial killers. sounds like a weird new band that’s actually just a group of the worst people you could ever meet

a ship I’ve never been able to get into: any time i see will/abigail and hannibal/abigail turned romantic or sexual in nature i shut down. also will/molly, but bryan never really gave them a fair chance. reba/francis, kind of, i guess. i adore her tho

a ship that was totally wrong and never should have happened: will/hannibal, at least not entirely the way it did. it wasn’t all bad, and the intensity of their connection despite all logic and every obstacle is astounding (especially since they’ve spent far more time apart than physically together), but there’s still so much that could have been better (and avoided entirely, HANNIBAL, you impossible chaos monster)also, mason/existence. god i fucking loathe that demon.

my favourite storyline/moment: beverly existing! love it!!!; will unknowingly saying “i have a date with the chesapeake ripper” to his face; WILL & PETER ALWAYS; this ridiculously endearing shit; all the tender hand touching. ugh; THIS because of hannibal not even needing to look to know will had come up behind him, he’s just entirely, acutely aware of his presence. also because them working together is a Thing (perhaps most especially when they’re going against serial killers? 🤔😂😅); will sat at hannibal’s desk looking soft and unbearably precious in his grey sweater; MARGOT & ALANA KILLING MASON; bella slapping & jack beating the shit out of hannibal; winston following will when he sleepwalks ☹️; “love. he pays you a visit or he doesn’t”; “i wasn’t decided when i called him. […] i decided when i heard his voice.” 😐; the time hannibal dressed will in a shirt that literally matches his eyes; reba and the tiger; will’s strange, vaguely erotic bloody wet dream in which hannibal all but outright declares his love for him ? ? ? wild; ……the other imagined homoerotic homicide; “technically, you killed him.” god hannibal’s such an asshole lmao; hannibal’s disdain toward mason is an eternal delight; ………hannibal saving people l o l

a storyline that never should have been written: will and margot sleeping together (regardless of whether it expedites conception, the sex scene itself was unnecessary. and her willful deception of him to achieve it was… really not great. like to this day i still believe he would have helped her of his own volition if she straight up asked). also, later, the forced hysterectomy mason subjected her to. ughhhhh.KILLING BEVERLY, especially since the way they facilitated this was to have her go and do something stupid when she already had the evidence against hannibal RIGHT THERE!!! RIGHT FUCKIN THERE oh my g o d

my first thoughts on the show: i’ve had so many thoughts about this murder show that i genuinely can’t remember what my first ones were? oh actually i do remember i was kind of surprised hannibal didn’t show up until the pilot was like half over

my thoughts now: a consistent mix of ‘god i miss hugh and mads together’ and ‘FIGHT ME BRYAN FULLER (but thanks for keeping the s4 hope alive)’ along with unending daily will graham torture

1 -  what are your top 3 favorite sets you’ve made?x (it took forever but was made with nothing but love); x (incredibly proud that i somehow managed to colour this, for a multitude of reasons); x (it’s quite a simple set, objectively, but it was a lesson in patience, adapting, and being entirely aware of what i was doing in terms of colouring. it’s a set i genuinely love revisiting.)

3 - which of your sets has the most notes?x. three years later it’s actually one of my least favourite sets l o l.

8 - what gif trend do you hate?probably the one where everything is dim and dark, partly because i love colours, but even more than that i love details and it kills me when so much is obscured by and lost in the darkness when it doesn’t have to be.
