Though it's arguable that he isn't doing such I'd like to think that they were all there for him today. Fanny would have taken a morning stroll with the man after his run congratulating him in her own way on his unwavering 2 minutes and 29 seconds. Before all joining in the living room for a morning briefing! The Captain would recall some of his most memorable briefings as CO, and or very long strategies which goes down as well as you think it would yet Julian holds his tongue. Nearing the end of the sunlight Pat would have attempted to keep everyone as busy as manageable for the entire day so turning in they'd all give their thanks. In the end James would of had a lovely chat with Robin and Kitty whilst Humphrey spoke keenly of the weaponry in tudor times as he sat by the window. As they retreat for the night he'd be left alone, there he'd wave goodbye to his lieutenant. James will be above button house one day, he'll glimmer and shine unapologetically but until then he'll keep calm and carry on.
