It's so [adjective] to me that Mark Waid wrote the most perfect Lois Lane in Superman: Birthright, and has been completely allergic to writing her ever since, to the point that her absence is actively conspicuous
#I feel like he doesn't like her#which is fine#but also#where is she#he can write such a good Lois#and he knows so much about Superman comics#and yet he just. doesn't engage with that incredibly prominent part of the Superman methods#*mythos#it's so odd#and he includes Diana and supergirl enough that I don't think it's that he doesn't want to write female characters (tho they are rare)#but like#odd
