it is very late and I am very tired but Mary is like Post-Crisis Billy’s sun in that everything revolves around her. he became Captain Marvel for her. he upended his entire life by agreeing to be adopted by the Bromfields for her. ignoring 2000s canon cause I don’t find it interesting, whatever direction that era of his life takes should be based around her as well
