ogilvie's little smile when the parkour guy started bleeding from the back..... these kind of people were genuinely a pain in the butt and also all too common when i was in med school - the kind that look at people needing procedures and itching to be the one to do it so they can tick it off in their procedure logs, the kind that only look at the disease and not the person having that disease, the kind that are almost too happy when they have to intubate a patient or have to perform cpr because to them, a real human being isn't coding in front of them... it's just another opportunity to hone their skills. book smart but not empathetic. luckily, a lot of these people grow out of this mindset and learn to develop empathy as they see more patients, but unfortunately some of them stay the same. this isn't necessarily hate towards ogilvie, the character, but more an observation about how med students and doctors like this character exist irl and yes, they are annoying to be around.

Hi so I’m not sure how I’m going to handle this blog with the new update. The whole point is you guys get to see old posts through my blog that I “proclaim” as heritage post ON the reblog. and one of my favorite parts is op sometimes replying back!!

In general I’m likely gonna use tumblr less until it’s reversed because fundamentally it’s just breaking what makes tumblr, tumblr.

I know I haven’t been active here but augh I got over a hundred posts saved in drafts

Oh that and I started counting and adding it collective post notes. I can’t do that as accurately once it hits
