every time i talk about marching band i get so bitter and angry bc i fucking loved it. i loved marching every friday night and loved going on the trips to perform in parades and concerts. out of my entire middle/high school experience, marching and concert band was the only thing i genuinely loved. but i was fucking bullied so badly by my “friends” that i had to quit the summer before junior year bc just being in the same room with them made me so anxious and scared. fuck them for taking away the one thing i was so passionate about.
