With summer truly here, Wanda finds herself saying goodbye to her brother and friends. It is an emotional farewell, and few eyes are left dry.
Wanda is hardly ready for what comes next, but she has little choice in the matter now.
Sometimes we talk about cool cats - which is to say boys we fancy - into the night. Golde and me tend to get us going on the topic, but we can usually rope Paulie in (though we all know who she fancies).
As for me? There are some chaps here that are interesting, but nothing too special. Golde and I are hoping for more fun on this city trip.
Sometimes I wish I could talk more about the pretty girls, too. There's this one girl- Jamie's her name - that seems awful fancy. I think I've even caught her looking a few times...

Sometimes the Wright and Jackson teens visit the local library for a few hours at a time. The eldest two of the group always seem to be the only ones actually reading, however.
