Queer progressive work exists, isn't perfect or up to "standred". Gets massively dogpiled on. "The creator is evil and bad actually, so ripping their work apart is okay. Yeah I only looked for dirt on them to feel justified hating their creative work. I am a good and moral person who definitely actually cares about their actions trust"
Want till the work is finished and or people get bored dogpiling on it.
"Oh, wait was that actually deserved"? Some fair and balanced concrit finally happens
Funny how predictable this cycle is. Let's see... Steven Universe? Check. The Boyfriends webtoon? Check. Velma? Check High guardian spice? Check. Hazbin Hotel? Check.
Regardless of the quality of these work, take notice of the common theme as to what gets these kind of hatedoms. Maybe consider what you are actually doing. Why they keep getting targeted. Wonder what they may all have in common...

What do you think of sastiel?
I LOVE it. I don't think about it as much bc wincest and samifer occupy more space on my hardware (brain), but I absolutely love it in ways I don't see the fandom explore! The whole (criminally short lol) godstiel arc + the fact it was castiel who broke sam's wall + the fact that Sam still believed in Cas. Like WHY is there more destiel from that. What.
There's also just the fact that Cas and Sam have such fun chemistry (in any way you take it!). I do concede that Dean and Cas have great chemistry onscreen but it's just... boring? I'm not going to turn this into a hate post though, that's not fun. I just think the "(formerly?) religious guy who feels he's a monster and inhuman human guy who wants to be free and more human" has so much more untapped potential. We could've had Godstiel and Sam going on wacky holy excursions to bless people while Sam's experiencing the horrors of hallucifer. There's a twisted tenderness to it - Castiel is stealing away the extension of a brother that knew their father etc etc. There's just so much that isn't really explored in fandom and it's such a shame.
@sparkylulu you did not just give me an opportunity to rave about Vincenzo!! yes I'm making a separate post just for it!
It's so good! It's a very satisfying revenge story, no boring "I'm not stooping to your level" bs. This is "you will pay for what you did, and I'm worse than you". In any other story Vincenzo would be the villain. It's also very nice to see people fighting against evil-mega-corporations.
Idk, how much you know about the plot, but basically Vincenzo was a member of Italian mafia and now he came to Korea to do some business, and evil-mega-corporation got in the way, both in just a business manner but also it gets personal, it becomes not only a legal fight between them but also a dirty and dangerous one.
The show also has an adorable cast of side characters, who are both frustrating at times and hilarious, and you just fall in love with them.
There's some romance going on, but it's not the main focus at all.
The acting is great!! Everyone is amazing in this show, but especially the main villain, downright terrifying!
And soundtrack! It's stellar! Really sets the mood and there's some great songs on their own merit.
I will say there is a homophobic episode, no hate crimes, but done in poor taste imo.
Also, the overall mood can be odd, some scenes get really morally dark and others are silly comedy. I loved both, but the switch can be jarring.
Vincenzo is a great morally gray character, he has a moral code, he follows himself, but he isn't a good person and he's not afraid to get his hands dirty. Hong Cha-young (the female lead) is very complex too and her character journey is so good. also she's a weirdo <3
and the villains are SO good in this show! I hate them so so much
I love this show so very much!! I cried, I laughed, I cursed out the villains, I cheered on the "good" guys.
Just look at these dorks*, I love them!
*dorks I say, when one of them is a literal murderer, and I love him for it
