Happy birthday!!!! It’s one of the best days of the year: the Queen’s birthday ;) I really wish I was there in Australia celebrating with you but alas, our schedules are keeping us apart as always. When we are back in the same place at the same time, we are celebrating big!! After all, I need to celebrate my baby daddy, secret lover and best friend!

My fellow queen!! From the moment I met you at that random party before I was even considered for the role of Queen Elizabeth, I knew you were someone special I needed in my life. I’ve always been so in awe of you but when I actually met you, I realized how COOL you are. Is that strange to say? Nope, it’s the truth. You were a person who lit up the room and had this infectious energy to you that makes everyone feel at ease. When I was offered the role of Queen Elizabeth, I knew I needed to take it because THE Saoirse Ronen was attached but I also was nervous as hell to play a role so many iconic women had already played. I felt I couldn’t measure up. You and Josie convinced me to say yes, not only because you’re both badass and women I knew I needed to work with, but because you both have a way of lifting other women up and helping them find that confidence. It’s a gift, honestly and something I admire so much. Anyway, long story short.. I’m asking you to be my bridesmaid here, haha. Now I know I won’t need any convincing on my wedding day, nor will I be nervous.. but I do know I need you by my side because you’re one of my dearest friends and I couldn’t imagine doing this without you. Plus, I think I heard JT wants to hold Seb’s hand during the ceremony and we all know you and I want to run off together anyway, haha. Please be my bridesmaid? I love you!

From the moment we met even before I had signed on to do Mary Queen of Scots, I knew you were a person and friend I’d want in my life forever. You quickly had become one of my closest friends and I’m so lucky to have you in my life. You make everything more fun, whether it’s just hanging out and staying in or enduring long days of film press and I know having you as a bridesmaid will be no different!
