Everytime I read about people being terribly upset that male actors still play love interests for much younger women, I feel deeply conflicted. Yes, yes it's unfair, and it totally sucks that in 20 or 30 years I'm probably the old hag no one wants to fuck, and I definitely haven't made my peace with it. But I'm also the prime example for the "younger woman" that is attracted to older guys. I literally have no idea why, but it's always been like that. Men my age just generally don't interest me in the slightest (with the big exception of my husband of course, but then again I think it's quite often the case that you have a certain type but marry someone who's completely different, so...). So yeah, I guess it's not fair and it sucks, but from my personal experience it actually seems to be much more often the case that younger women somehow end up with older men than the other way round, so, I don't know.
