Sonic x Knuckles 👁? For the ship ask game 👁?

Makes sense; compels me! I was a SonKnux shipper from back in the 90s, reading StC as a kid. They've always been a ship I like, even if they're not my top fave, I still really like them. Generally, I always assume that Knuckles has a crush on Sonic at least, even if he's not consciously aware of it

4. who is your cinnamon roll fave who everyone loves

There are a lot of examples for this and it's hard to pick just one, but the one that springs to mind the most rn is Steven Universe. I've never seen a better character arc than what he went through and he might just be my fave main character in anything ever.

I feel like it's probably Maui/Tamatoa in terms of sheer "would make someone scream wtf???" ship. But when it comes to something that's crack due to the characters not having any interactions at all, then I used to ship Manic/Bunnie Rabbot as a kid, but I don't now. I feel like answering crossover ships is cheating, but I'm currently fleshing out a BBC Merlin x Umbrella Academy AU and trying to decide what I want to ship between klaus/gwaine and klaus/lancelot.

7. what is ur  guiltiest guilty fave fandom

Everyone knows I'm into Sonic, that's not a secret, but I feel like it's... probably considered cringey to be as deeply emotionally invested in it as I am? And like, not even the games. I am legit hardcore into all those many spin-offs, particularly the western ones.

And also, Persona is trash and I love that? But that's hardly a newsflash either lol

10. what is the worst thing you want to become canon (character death, trash-ship etc)

I mean........... my ship in Treasure Planet? I wanted it to be one-sided canon. Just in so far as one of them crushing on the other one and suffering because of it. There's uhhh probably worst stuff I've wanted to be canon, but that's the only one I feel up to being vague about rn

F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

I have been in the Sonic fandom since I was too young to remember. It's something I've brushed in and out of over the years, but it's always been a presence in my life.

R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?

There's so many good ones to choose from! Maybe random, but I love the friendship between Klavier and Trucy in Ace Attorney - united in trolling Apollo. Oh, another Ace Attorney one! Replaying the first trilogy made me really appreciate the friendship between Phoenix and Maya. Now those two are a great example of how you do a purely platonic relationship between your main male and female characters.

Y - What are your secondhand fandoms (i.e., fandoms you aren’t in personally but are tangentially familiar with because your friends/people on your dash are in them)?

Gonna be honest, I have a lot less of these now, because I'm much quicker to mute series I'm not interested in seeing and y'all are so good about tagging your posts to keep stuff I don't want to see off my dash. But there's some series that I don't follow but still like seeing on my dash. The first one that comes to mind is Sailor Moon. Despite reblogging a lot of content from it, I'm not that familiar with the series, I just like the aesthetic. I did read the manga and didn't retain any of it and I would like to watch the older Sailor Moon anime one day, though.

21. What was the first fanfic you ever wrote? The first fanfic I wrote that you can still find online if you deep dive (it’s really not worth the hassle tho) is an old Sonic the Hedgehog fanfic called SU Forever, which was just a terrible “What if all these characters from different Sonic spin-offs were all in one AU and Manic & Bunnie fall in love cuz they’re my faves”. There was another (possibly?) earlier one that isn’t online any more called Sazamon That was just a “self-insert is friends with NiGHTS from NiGHTS into Dreams and also she can transform into Pokemon and Digimon” lol 29. Do you have a beta reader? Why/Why not? No, I generally do not. I’m not opposed to the idea at all, but I don’t like to bother people by asking them to read my stuff. Even when someone outright offers to be my beta, I usually just don’t end up asking them. Also I’m pretty impatient about posting stuff, so you folks get whatever I toss on AO3, mistakes and all. 51. Rant or Gush about one thing you love or hate in the world of fanfiction! Go! I love that feeling you get when you get a review for a fic you wrote about a rarepair. Where you know the person is just so overjoyed they even found fic for this obscure ship that they like. Popular ships are cool too, but idk nothing can match that feeling of knowing you really made someone’s day and given them content for something that they don’t see very often.
