family harmony spell

sundays are a family get-together day for me and there's usually a good deal of tension. so i decided to whip this up and it proved useful to make everything feel more mellowed down than usual, as if everyones’ edges had been dulled. it helped quite a bit!

what i did:

casted a circle and grounded

manifested 4 white candles around me, front + back, left + right (i would’ve used actual candles but no such luck yesterday) and then lit them with my mind

cleansed tools (fireproof bowl, box of matches and a piece of paper with the spell written on it)

chanted spell while concentrating on my intent:

Family harmony is what I seek Family harmony will be granted to me For the next 24 hours this spell will last Family harmony will come, won't pass

burned the paper (i had to put it on fire twice and even then it didn’t burn completely, the only words that “survived” were harmony twice, so i let it be)

grounded again to return excessive energy to the earth

put out candles and made them disappear & brought down circle

you can of course change it up however you feel it’s better for you (especially the “24 hours” part) and use it how you see fit. happy witching w/ less family tension! :)

not precisely sea-witchery, but--

A thing perhaps of interest to pop culture pagans, and for my own records: I cast a modified version of a ‘Patronus’ spell (from Harry Potter, of course) the previous evening, to help with anxiety and fear, and the results really surprised me! Don’t ever let anyone tell you that PC paganism will never work...!
