penelope: am i though???
“kids, have you seen my glock?” (from the things heard at school meme from demigod!ryker who can be referring to either javan, stetson, or jakke)
edit from the dms: (from demigod!ryker who can be *imitating either javan, stetson, or jakke)
things heard at school | accepting
"very funny, ryker," he said. "a glock is a pistol. this is a shotgun—a tristar, if you want the brand." stetson put his gun and leftover ammo in the armory's safe, away from any kids who didn't know the first thing about safety.
under his breath, he added, "i swear, you forget your gun is strapped to your back and spend the day searching for it one time and no one will ever let you live it down."
most of my demigods: normal, canon-typical weapons. a sword, a knife, a bow, etc. javan & stetson: G U N
i come bearing more proof that stetson is a booth kinnie. it's the belt buckle.
stetson was raised catholic. surprisingly, finding out the gods were real didn't shatter his world (unlike my other explicitly christian character, [cough] aeron [cough]). the only time it really impacted his life was his high school sweetheart telling him about her pregnancy. they were monogamous, so it was obvious who the father was.
like the good catholic jake raised him to be, stetson asked penelope to marry him. no ring, no fanfare, just the question. instead of a yes or no, she met him with a different question: "is this because you love me enough to marry me or due to this accident?"
and wasn't that the problem? penelope knew him too well. he loved her—still does, to this day—but that wasn't the reason he proposed.
in the end, her rejection worked out. their love faded from romantic to platonic. co-parenting as friends instead of a married couple has allowed their daughter, savvy, to have a healthy view of love since she doesn't have parents stuck in a marriage they didn't really want.
stetson is a yallternative.
order since i couldn’t fit the names:
top: rhis, stetson, anakin
middle: cyrene, lillian, aeron
bottom: mills, marly-alice, asph
