Currently reading ‘Mapping Mars’ by Oliver Morton, at the same time as we're having a few lectures on Mars in my glaciers module! The book is really interesting and I’m learning a lot about the history of Mars research while also learning some of the more recent stuff in lectures which is super exciting. There’s a huge amount of freely available information on the internet about Mars, we have very high quality Digital Elevation Models available for free which is...pretty amazing, and you can even look at Mars using Google Earth!

01/22/2018 –– completed a full page in my planner.

I’ve started school today aka I started my three online classes and will start my face-to-face class tomorrow. Plus, I have an advising meeting today for graduation, which is super exciting! I’m FINALLY graduating from undergrad!!

02/02/2018 –– here are some notes for my grammar class :’)

I just got accepted into George Washington University's publishing master’s program! That’s two of the four schools I applied to! I’m still waiting to hear back from Emerson College and NYU before I make my big decision :D

02/28/2018 –– this week’s weekly planner spread

This is a pretty exciting month! In about three weeks, I’m going on a 7-day cruise to Mexico for spring break! I also just paid for my trip to New York in April! I’M TRAVELING :’D I get to explore and take pictures for my photo journal and make a decision on grad school!

01/26/2018 –– visited MUJI

Yesterday, I received an email from Pace University saying I got into the M.S. Publishing program and a PU Graduate Merit Scholarship (if I choose to go), which was the BEST news I could have gotten this year. So, I decided to treat myself and went to MUJI and Cotton On. The things I got from MUJI were:

An Acrylic Cubby Box w/ 3 Drawers (to go along with the other acrylic cubby box I have)

Two Hi-Quality Notebooks – A5/72 Sheets (I’m using one of them for the commonplace book I need for my Grammar for Writers class)

Three Clear-Tip Highlighters (I got green, blue, and orange and bought them because they were cool looking, lol)

A Mechanical Pencil w/ Rotating Lead – 0.5 (Idk what that means, but I like how it writes)

A Double Pen Case (it’s so cool, I like it better than the $1 Walmart pen case I have)

I’ll post a picture of what I bought when I have the chance to take better pictures. I don’t have a desk because of my living situation, so I like to wait till no one is home so I can use the dinning room table to take pictures :’) Also, I’m still waiting to hear back form NYU, Emerson College, and George Washington University. Let’s hope I get into the rest of these schools even though I don’t know how I’m going to make my decision on which school I want to go to.

02/19/2018 –– this week’s spread in my big happy planner :)

I never use a planner for school, but receiving this as a gift was a blessing. It’s hard being a full-time student while working a full-time job and having an internship! I have no time to do everything I need to do and this lovely planner has been helping me stay somewhat organized with my time.

In an attempt to minimize and give myself a space to work amongst a house of roommates, I put a folding desk in my closet. It was a treat to myself for trimming down my wardrobe and making space.
