do you have any advice for just..drawing what you love with out feeling bad???

well I try to remember how happy it always makes me to see other people draw weird/niche stuff I like!!! And how nice it is to see people be openly passionate about something they love, even if I dont understand it! If I feel that way about what other people make, surely some folks will see what I make the same way!

thats part of why if I have any energy at all I try to give some kind of reaction in the tags of any art i reblog; I think embracing how excited I get for other artists sort of primes my brain to more easily believe other ppl can enjoy my art that way as well!

I also have a lot of experience learning that almost everyone has a big nerdy soft spot for something cringy deep down in their heart, so whatever you feel bad for liking, it's not making you any less mature or cultured or smart than anyone else. It's just another thing you like! You deserve to be happy about it, and if you bring it up there is ALWAYS someone else out there in the big wide world who will be just as excited as you to hear about it if you can find them. And the best way to do that is to make it clear and apparent how much you like the thing!

#also of course: if u Put Yourself Down-- SHUT YOURSELF DOWN! shooting down self depricating thoughts is an active process!#its difficult and I dont have many more tips than focusing on ur positive emotions by being vocal abt them as i listed above but i wish u th #*the best #being a person who creates things is an ever evolving process w no end goal so there is also not a total failure state

anyway chapter 5 in spm is one of the best bc it introduces a very rich and established world in the form of the floro kingdom and the land of the cragnons, and rly makes you believe the issues and struggles between them, and the plot twist is really genius?? and all the lore you get of the floro kingdom is incredibly interesting, and its a chapter with fun memorable characters, in the form of flint and his crew and king croacus! also its one of the chapters that actually offers to the main story besides the usual ‘this is where the pure heart is’ part, with the floro sprouts and the foreshadowing of dimentio using them in his plan!

plus the gameplay and level design is super fun (ignoring that....one puzzle in 5-1) 5-2 especially with searching for the tablets in 5-2, the music in both settings is GREAT and the visuals are rly pretty!!! either way tied best chapter with 8 and full floro kingdom/land of the cragnons game when nintendo!!!
