she’s grateful she’d gotten milo home before dark. but she’s also regretting allowing him to convince her to read a couple books to him before bed because now she’s walking home alone. in the dark. and harmonia doesn’t live in the upper east side where CRIME is unheard of. she resides in a sketchy neighborhood on the fourth floor. so the walk from the safety of the subway is one that makes her heart pitter patter and her eyes dart from left to right and up and down RELENTLESSLY.
but what GOD AMONG MEN is scared of mere mortals ? well, one that is so DESPERATELY trying to FIT IN. though, alas there is no need to worry ! she sees one of her many neighbors on the stoop of their building and she is CALMED.
