Not that the irony of getting cross over the suggestion was immediately apparent to the assassin. It wasn't his partner he was annoyed with either, not really.

My theory/main headcanon is that Dess isn't missing she's dead and Asgore was responsible (I haven't gotten the details and they don't matter much tbh it was accidental & dark world related). Carol feels personally betrayed by the Dreamurrs and while she was always intense the grief of losing her child alongside other life factors made her extremely bitter
