threshold is the best worst episode ever. robert duncan mcneill putting his whole robussy into it. the emmy-winning makeup. the salamanders.
so many terrible star trek episodes have some really good aspects to them which is the infuriating part. not all but a lot. not only did threshold win that makeup emmy but it’s a weirdly good character episode for tom
