imagine genya tags along to a hashira meeting and sanemi is doing everything in his power to not acknowledge his existence at all until rengoku starts annoying him by nudging his sides and being like "why you so grumpy :)" and when sanemi snaps at him to knock it off, genya chips in from the side; "at leaste he didnʼt go for your hips" and next thing you know sanemi's being held back by gyomei and tengen so he doesn't murder genya while rengoku and mitsuri try to get his hips without getting kneed in the guts

So like- Genya’s here because Muichiro invited him. “He’s my friend, deal with it.” He’d tell Sanemi when the wind boy is all: !!!!
So like you said, Sanemi’s all: 😎 pretending Genya’s not even talking and the rest of the Hashira are just kinda going with it until Rengoku get’s nosey- poking his sides and asking “Hey, did you hear what mini-zugawa said? Huh? Mini-Zugawa seems kind, does your brother like food? Hey, why are you so grumpy?”
Insert Sanemi being all: “Cut the shit, eyebrows!” And the everyone + Master Kagaya’s all: “….eyebrows?”
Before anyone can say anything Genya’s all: “Nii-chan always reacted like that when tickled. You should see what happens when you go for his hips :D”
All chaos breaks out- Gyomei’s holding Sanemi back, who’s swearing up a storm while laughing cause team TenRenMitsu’s getting his hips + belly and driving him insane. Obanai’s threatening to end Sanemi’s life if he accidentally kicks Mitsuri and gets a whole sandal to the face. (Complete accident- totally not thrown by Tengen nope not at all 👀) Shinobu’s laughing her ass off in the back while Giyu’s having a whole Gay-panic episode from how dang cute Sanemi is when laughing.
Kagaya’s just kinda taking it all in fondly, deciding he needed to invite Genya to meetings more often ahznnwnsn
