I’ve noticed that the chapters where Sakura briefly talks about his past aren’t titled as “past” or “childhood,” and the covers have nothing to do with it either. Even his father and the families are shown faceless, blacked out. Is this intentional? Like Sakura has already moved on from his past — or that he doesn’t remember it clearly?
i mostly think that he has already moved on but trauma it’s trauma, u can heal but the scar will never be vanished
those ppl who said shi abt him obviusly made him feel bad ofc but u can’t live in sadness forever u need to move on like he did in these new chapters, u can notice when he is telling Momijikawa about his past, after telling Furin, after open himself to others that weight he felt could vanished a little because now he is carry on that weight with others, with his family
Childhood it’s supposed to be happy, to celebrate our birthdays, have toys on christhmas, sakura never had that, he never had that kind of “childhood”, thats why i think the chapters are not named as “Childhood” ‘cause maybe for him it was never a Childhood (i dont explain so good, sorry 🥺🥺)
I feel bad when ppl say that Sakura’s past isn’t painful enough, dude he STILL belive in santa and think he is a bad child and thats why he never comes to his house, he didn’t know human body could be so warm, his father blamed him for his mother (sakura’a mother) and i belive that he dont even know how she looks like
Sorry for talking to much but thanks for the question Anon 🌸
Also dont mind my orthography mistakes, english it’s not my first language ^^’’
