hi im really sorry but this has been on my mind a lot and i know people have said it before but!
it is NOT “quirky and relatable” to not take care of yourself! it is not something to brag about! don’t make how sleep deprived you are into a competition! don’t say proudly how you only eat ramen!
because fun fact! its not cool! it creates a negative stigma around actually being a productive and healthy person! like i was watching a video from my recommended feed on yt comparing trisha paytas’ (yeah i’m not a fan but i wont diss) morning routine to others’ and???
when i looked at the comments they were making fun of the girls that woke up on time and didn’t immediately check social media and maybe took some time to plan their day?
why can’t people understand that taking care of yourself is good?! it’s okay! it doesn’t make you self centered or “basic” or anything!!
when i started to come out of mental illness and really work towards becoming more organized, i got more compliments and became more sociable and more! helping yourself is good! trying to make a routine and get out of unhealthy habits is good!
