something something about eddie telling shannon via kim you didn't love me enough to stay. and now he's agonising over this choice that shouldn't even feel like a choice but it does for some reason because it means leaving buck. and then buck is spiralling. calling eddie an abandoner. saying "he knows how to stay" implying eddie doesn't. and that sounds familiar somehow. you didn’t love me enough to stay. except then buck realises that's not it at all. so he flips it on its head and says, essentially. i love you enough to let you go.

and well. something something about eddie paralleling the note shannon left him. but eddie doesn't leave. he stays. and crucially he realises he can have both. he can choose buck and he can choose christopher. he leaves buck for christopher. he brings christopher to la for buck. for both of them. for all of them. because that's where they all belong. together.

cant believe 414 starts with Buck literally risking his life to save Eddie but by the end Eddie is like actually I did the ultimate act of love for you already, like a year ago. like the whole shooting is insane and romantic but Eddie manages to be insaner and romanticer

yes and in my mind it's because the only thing that used to genuinely make eddie happy no matter how sad he was or how much pressure he felt on himself was chris so that's why he'd always bring him to buck because hanging out with chris was the only thing he knew that always brought happiness

okay so as someone new to 9-1-1 my crazy Texas theory after speed watching half the show whilst keeping up with the recent episodes is that not only Eddie is never going to El Paso but the reason is Chris! - after Buck and Eddie stumble across a house listing Buck can’t find a reason to veto like all of the ones before Eddie calls Chris to tell him and Chris is like. I don’t want you here. And Eddie is crushed, but he’s staying strong, puts his foot down. And Chris is like but I like LA. Don’t sell the house in LA. And then Chris basically forces Eddie to stay put because he doesn’t want to lose LA.

an extra torment layer to consider for buck: he has had 4995 south bedford st subconsciously filed away as home in his mind for so long now. he has his own set of keys. it’s somewhere that he’s not really a guest. it was one of the first places apart from the station where he probably got to feel settled for the first time in a while. he is equally as attached to every nook and cranny of the diaz home as he is to the actual diaz boys themselves. his soul is split in different ways for every single person and thing that he loves and the diaz home is one of them. actually. part of buck’s soul is entwined with that home. oh buck.

Best Crowley sidekick S3

so I thought about this for the longest time and I think the funniest sidekick they could give Crowley in S3 is a Temptations demon. Hear me out. A random person who just has something Crowley needs (settles his tab at a bar? Is selling a rare book Crowley has a history with?) gets involved in whatever machinations he is involved with. They dress up in a vintage style/like a librarian, all beige and are just lovely to everyone around but then flirts mercilessly with everyone when Crowley’s not around. Bonus points if they’re female presenting just so Crowley doesn’t get suspicious and their mission is to keep an eye on him and slowly convince him to come back to Hell because who would know how to defeat the new archangel better than him? Then when it all get’s revealed Crowley’s shocked because they didn’t try to tempt him to any earthly pleasures and the demon just goes “oh I just followed what you desire”
