yippee we have a provisional drivers licence now.

what? to drive? nono, you misunderstand, this is to have an id. like at all. other than a fucking passport.

driving is cringe but this is the only one we can get that’s valid and asks few questions.

so Uma is being very funny after the update. maybe this is cause we had to transfer to pc. we aren’t allowed to do Unity cup right now, it says it’s under maintainence.

anyways, we tried the updated ura finale. we don’t get it. maybe because we’ve played functionally only trackblazer for the last few months, maybe because we’ve moved platform and have to relearn inputs, maybe because our trainees love failing on single digit chances, maybe because our success rate on duels with happy meek is sub-50%. Either way, we just don’t get it. we’ll try more later, but this isn’t doing anything good to our lack of enthusiasm toward the game. least of all because it now has to compete for time with our main game list and not like. pocket planes.

we had a hell of an experience earlier.

so! uma musume had a big update! this is cool and good and holy fuck it’s the better part of 15GB.

Our phone, which we use to play the game, is very old. It has a storage size of 64GB.

The game was already about 15GB, so this would’ve made it 30. We didn’t have the space. We didn’t know this when we tried to update. This half-bricked our phone. As in even the reminders app couldn’t send notifications.

We could, however, still access the main menu. So! We had to flounder to figure out how to do account linking the hard way!

So now our Apple ID is linked to the dead dummy account from steam, our actual email is linked to the real account, we’ve managed to finagle all the pieces around and now we have the game on steam. This is not very nice, we enjoy playing uma in bed to wind down at days end. which we cannot do anymore.

we need a new phone…

oh yeah we’re back home btw. our travel woes didn’t stop with the trains, the tram back from the station was delayed because of a tree on the overhead lines.

again, it’s 100% the curse.

we can never get a good and normal train back home huh.

from Edinburgh 2 years ago there was a ton of drunk people at like 10am for the whole 4 hour trip. We also had Covid at the time but didn’t know yet.

from Llandudno last year there was similar but not quite as bad.

Scarborough last year was cancelled and had issues with seating as a result of needing to get the next train.

Scarborough this year was split into 2 journeys, one to York which we didn’t get reserved seats for and were meant to be helped to ensure we got seats at all. We got no help but did get seats. The second to Manchester has computer issues for where the train is stopping at, so says it’s going to Liverpool. As a result, all reservations to Manchester aren’t working, so our reserved seats are taken. Luckily there was a set of two for us to sit in just by where we’re meant to be.
